Self Propelled Ropeway Systems

Aarconinfra Ropeways has partnered exclusively with CDC, Italy to introduce a breakthrough technology in the transportation industry - "The Self-Propelled Ropeway System". This innovative technology is set to transform the way people and goods are transported across difficult terrains. Unlike traditional cable air bridges, this self-propelled ropeway system is designed with two stationary ropes and self-propelled cabins that eliminate the need for moving cables and power-consuming stations. It can support up to 40 tonnes of weight and a span of 3km at a stretch, with an unlimited maximum length of alignment and an angle of ascent of up to 60 degrees, while maintaining a speed of 8m per second. This technology is especially useful for passenger ropeway projects in hard-to-reach regions with different grades that are impossible to connect without long ropeways. Unlike current passenger ropeway technologies that are limited by a certain distance and grade, CDC's solution achieves ultimate performance through features such as less number of supports with larger lengths of spans between them, no power-drive stations, no electric substations, and modular simplicity. At Aarconinfra Ropeways, we believe that design is not just about aesthetics, but also about functionality. The self-propelled ropeway system is a perfect example of this principle. It offers a whole new experience of transportation, delivering passengers and goods to their destination points with vertical lifting technology. We are ushering in a new era of ropeway transportation that is safe, comfortable, and efficient.
